Aloe Vera A Natural Source of Skin Care for All Skin Types
The inner gel of Aloe Vera is considered very well for Skin Care. As it is a natural balancer it's good for all Skin types whether you have Oily Skin, Dry Skin or a mixture of both.
Before discussing how Aloe Vera works in Skin Care let's look at the structure of our Skin
A Graphical Representation of Skin Layers
Skin is the largest organ in our body and it is very vibrant. Our skin weight 15 percent of our body and covers around 12 to 20 square feet (1.1 to 1.9 square meters)! And 70% of the Skin is water.
Skin consists of 7 Layers : Epidermis (which is composed of 5 sub-layers),Dermis, and Subcutis.
Epidermis - This superficial layer, no thicker than a sheet of paper, both defend you from the outer world and presents you in it.
Dermis - This wide middle layer makes up most of your skin. It contain Collagen and Elastin — fibers that give your Skin strength, formation and elasticity.
Subcutaneous - This layer, which is primarily fat, is the source of your Skin's nerves & blood vessels. It is also the roots of your hair follicles, oil and sweat glands.
Inside Aloe Vera leaves there is a Gel-like substance. This gel has vast range of Vitamins (including Vitamin E –which is very important for skin), Minerals, Amino Acids & Enzymes. Aloe is weirdly a close match to our Skin’s pH balance. Therefore, it is able to moisturize and heal Skin fast.
Aloe Vera enhances the activity of Fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are special cells found in the Skin that create Fiber such as Collagen & Elastin. These Fibers give Skin it's structure and make it look fleshy and supple. The more we have it the more YOUTHFUL we Look.
Deep in the Epidermis, Skin cells are rather large and very much alive when first formed but by the time they reach the surface (usually after 21-18 days in normal skin)they are a just a shade of their former nature and are transformed to slight flakes of Keratin which ultimately fall off. Aloe Vera gel provides the Essential Nutrients to nourish the basal cells.
Did you know.....
"The skin absorbs Aloe Vera up to
4 times faster than water"?
It emerges that Aloe Vera can in fact help the pores of the skin to open and receive the moisture and nutrients of Aloe Vera.
Skin is a Vital Organ of human body to take care of. The most common trouble we experience is having dehydrated (dry) skin.
Exposure to Sun and other external elements cause several Skin problems. Too much sun exposure can cause free radicals to appear in skin, via ultra violet rays. These free radicals have an effect on Skin which creates Wrinkles. One of the most sure ways to fight these free radicals is taking Anti-Oxidants.
Aloe Vera has a lofty source of Anti-Oxidants which fight against these radicals, rejuvenating the Skin.
Aloe Vera Gelly as Skin Care
In order to achieve proper skin restoration Aloe Vera has to be applied every day or multiple times a day. The area of your body that is dry, will respond according to how often Aloe has been applied to it.
If it is the face, then Aloe Vera should be applied at least two times a day, morning & night and skin conditions should recover within a few weeks.
If the problems are somewhere else in the body, applying Aloe after taking shower is probably the best as skin is clean and the moisturizer will work best then.
This may not seem convenient for many people to collect Aloe Vera then squeeze it's Gel to use. Even if you are someone who like's to use home made skin care products carrying Aloe leaves when traveling is definitely not a cool idea!
So here is the Aloe Vera Gelly in a tube (identical to fresh gel of a Cut Aloe leaf) I recommend...

For many people, the majority of skin problems occur on the feet, apply Aloe for maximum skin care right before going to bed. Cover feet with Aloe Vera gelly and put on some socks. Application of Aloe right before bedtime is best as it will leave your body uninterrupted for 6 to 8 hours that you are sleeping for greatest effect.
